Full moon run
Just a reminder to say I have spoken with Phil and the full moon run is going ahead this Thursday
We are meeting in the Car Park at the Top Red Lion Grenoside at 7pm
Dont forget some money, head torches and some warm bright outfits
Also allow a bit of extra time as there are some roadworks near the Red Lion

Christmas Bike Ride 2011
Several members turned out today for the annual Christmas Bike Ride . Thanks to everyone for making it a cracking day out. No ice this year, just plenty of mud ! Top Santa outfits, great banter & fun & games in the pub before we headed home.
Must bring some bolt crops next year !

Percy Pud 2011
A few brave souls from Valley Hill turned out today to run the Percy Pud, a 10k race in the Loxley valley with a Christmas pud at the finish. Wind and rain didn't dampen the spirits, and some excellent times were posted. A special mention goes to Ash as he was running for his Gran who sadly passed away at the weekend " Well done Ash " and thanks for the cup of tea. Well done too, to Dan who stood in the pouring rain waiting for his dad (Ian D) to come in. Much to Dan's amusement, his dad was beaten by a camel !

VHR Christmas meal 2011
The annual Christmas dinner dance was held at the Staindrop Lodge in chapeltown on friday night. Members and their partners enjoyed a lovely meal and dance afterwards. Thanks again to Amanda for organising it. I think everyone had a great time.

This is the 4th time I've done this race BUT the first time in decent weather, as always a very organised event and as there aren't too many ten mile races around one that i would recomend. Excellent coolmax t-shirt to all finishers & the small size is small so therefore fits! Great goody bag with several chocolate bars so the other half was impressed.
