Percy Pud 2011

A few brave souls from Valley Hill turned out today to run the Percy Pud, a 10k race in the Loxley valley with a Christmas pud at the finish.&nbsp;Wind and rain didn't dampen the spirits, and some excellent times were posted. A special mention goes to Ash as he was running for his Gran who sadly passed away at the weekend " Well done Ash " and thanks for the cup of tea. Well done too, ... <br clear="all">

Guy Fawkes 10

SUN 6th NOV - Guy Fawkes 10 This is the 4th time I've done this race BUT the first time in decent weather, as always a very organised event and as there aren't too many ten mile races around one that i would recomend. Excellent coolmax t-shirt to all finishers &amp; the small size is small so therefore fits! Great goody bag with several chocolate bars so the other half was impressed.
Sunday 30th Oct-Canal Run A very civilised starting time of 11AM(clocks going back=an extra hour in bed) BUT this did not allow for Ian(Gs) powdering of his nose! Thanks to Bev who alerted the starter that we were missing but i had the fastest warm up ever. This proved a plus as the course was three and a half miles which is a bit of a sprint distance&nbsp;for me.
